Common Errors

Quick Fixes

Before diving into specific troubleshooting pages, try these common remedies that resolve many issues:

Restart Recaster — Close and reopen the application. Many transient issues resolve on restart.
Update your GPU drivers — Outdated NVIDIA drivers are the most common cause of GPU-related errors.
Check available disk space — Ensure at least 5 GB of free space for model downloads and temporary files.
Reset settings — Delete or rename the settings.json file to restore defaults. You will need to reactivate your license and accept the consent dialog again.
Reinstall Recaster — Download the latest version from the Downloads page and install fresh.
